Volunteer Requirements
What to Expect
Step 1: Apply
Complete the online Volunteer Application and upload your resume. Our leadership team will review your application and contact you with the next steps.
Step 2: Complete Your Volunteer Forms
If your application is approved, you'll receive a welcome email with instructions to complete your onboarding documents, including: Volunteer Waiver and Code of Conduct. Once your completed forms have been received, you'll officially become a Cardinal Senior Connections volunteer.
Step 3: Begin Volunteering
We'll notify volunteers of upcoming volunteer opportunities through email. You can choose which visits fit your schedule. During your first volunteer visit, you'll receive a short orientation with one of the CSC board members and Volunteer Handbook before participating in activities with residents.
Step 4: Continue Making a Difference
After each visit, volunteers will complete a brief reflection form so we can continue improving our program. Volunteer hours will be recorded and can be verified for school, scholarships, or service requirements upon request.
